Celebrating an Icon of Music and Art

In celebration of the Southbank Centre’s 75th anniversary, we have partnered with Lillet to raise a glass to one of the most influential artists to grace the South Bank, David Bowie.

Bowie shared a long-standing connection with the Southbank Centre, collaborating with avant-garde artists who performed and exhibited across the venue. In 2002 he curated the Meltdown Festival, bringing together an eclectic programme of musicians, filmmakers and creatives that reflected the bold artistic spirit of his career.

Inspired by his boundary-pushing legacy, our bartenders have created four cocktails in partnership with Lillet. Our four cocktails celebrate his legacy and long-standing collaboration of the arts.

Each drink draws on the same creativity, individuality and sense of occasion that David Bowie championed, distinctive, expressive and each as unique and eclectic as Bowie himself.
